Event Description
Junior and Senior 4-Hers aged 9 to 18 are eligible to participate. In one day, the
4-Hers are taught and tested on the basics of tree identification, tree measurement, and the use of a compass and measuring distances by pacing.
•Cost is $3 per participant (Agents register youth through 4-H Online using the event title: Land Between the Lake Forestry Field Day)
•Registration Deadline - August 25
•Bring a sack lunch
•Wear sturdy shoes such as tennis shoes
